Since God doesn’t look on the outside, should you dress like celebrities?

Liberal Christians today are a very deceived bunch of people. They claim to go by the name of Christ but live like the rest of the world. A classic example is the popular saying “God doesn’t look on the outside but at the heart”.  Agreed that this is what the LORD told Samuel when choosing David as a king:

“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” (1Sam 16:7)

So taking this Scripture ref. in to account, men and women who call themselves Christians find the liberty to cover themselves in tattoos, piercings and clothes that exhibit all the feminine curves. Don’t even dare tell them that their sense of fashion is an abomination to God; you will be attacked with the verse quoted above. In fact, they will tell you that immoral fashion it is not distracting anyone from worshiping God. There are even worship leaders that dress like Hollywood celebrities. In that case, the Apostle Paul made an unforgivable blunder when he commanded women to dress modestly.

Even men lie when saying that a women’s suggestive clothing doesn’t stop him from focusing on God – yeah right! Are you really not distracted when a liberal Christian girl is dressed in tight mini-skirt jumping in front of you during a worship session? (These worship sessions are mostly music worship instead of God worship, but that’s another topic.)

And girls, as if you don’t know that you are causing men (who you call your brothers in Christ) to sin?

Anyhow, coming down to what God is saying in the verse quoted above, notice that He is referring to the physical  structure of a man (or a woman). “Countenance” and “height of the structure” refer to the attributes with which the person is born. People judge others based on these attributes: short men, black people, ugly nose, no curves etc. The physical characteristics, which you can’t do anything about, is what the LORD is referring to. No one is born with tattoos, low-cut tops or piercings. (If you had tattoos before you came to the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are pardoned. However, it is those who know His grace yet go on to look like the heathens.)

There are portions in the book of Psalms and Proverbs that say that a woman who leads a man astray with her words is an adulteress. However, women don’t need to speak words in order to lead men to stray; she simply has to show off her curves and/or skin.  You could cover all your skin by wearing a tight outfit, it will still display your curves. It is a proven fact that men naturally tend to respect women that dress modestly and carry themselves with dignity and self-worth rather than items of lust. And trust me girls, real men prefer a properly dressed woman.

As to the argument that God looks at the heart: your thoughts, your sense of fashion, your words, you habits — they all display what’s in your heart, and what God is actually looking at. What’s on the inside shows on the outside. If you revered and feared the absolutely holy and righteous God, you would think a 100 times before dressing like a celebrity or heading to the tattoo parlor.

Enmity with God in the Church

The lack of fear of God has brought in so much worldliness and compromise within the Church it’s shocking. Every disobedient thing seems to be acceptable, whether it’s yoga, transcendental meditation (in the name of Jesus, if that’s not going beyond the limit then I don’t know that is!), live-in relations, night clubs, witchcraft/vampire-themed movies, etc. The list is endless. Why have Christians failed to recognize the enemy? Why are they so ready to believe a compromised gospel rather than the Gospel that says “do not love the world or the things therein” (1John 2:15)? The Lord was not using a figure of speech when He spoke through James saying, “know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God“? (James 4:4) Which “god” do you go to sing to on Sunday mornings? A god whose love is so overtly emphasised that he’s turned into a Santa Claus? A god who’s so “love-sick” that he’s begging you to love him back? That’s the not God of the Bible! We’re supposed to be on our knees begging Him for love; yet He’s so merciful He took the initiative to endow His love on us! He has not removed His indignation and fearful wrath from the disobedient and the half Christians (Rom 1:18).

If you do a research or at least look around in this site, you’ll find that this world is run by the Evil. He’s doing all he can to take as many souls as he can with him into the lake of fire. He’s created lewd entertainment, unjust politics and government, texts books teaching lies about history and science, false doctrines, false teachers, false “Christian” interpretations, New Age gurus,  confused gender roles, fairy tales, manifestations of aliens. Again the list is endless. Do you still not comprehend why the only wise and all-knowing God would tell His chosen sheep to stay away from the wolves territory? Are Satan’s strategies hid from Him? Why is every generation worse than the previous? Christians are perishing because of the lack of knowledge. It’s too difficult for them to give up the “fun” the god of this world has to offer. I often can’t tell the difference between a christian and a heathen. That’s the most shameful thing ever!

Fear God. And by fear I mean be afraid of Him. Enough of the mushy god the terrifying God is turned into. Because false teachers have managed to take out the fear of God from the minds of Christians, they are involved in every evil work because they think God is love and not to be feared. The Apostle Paul persuaded people to turn to Christ and obey Him because he knew the terror of God Almighty.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men… (2Cor 5:10,11)

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Heb 0:31)

This is holy fear, and not manipulation. Keep away from the things of this world; the things that make your flesh happy but grieves your spirit and the Holy Spirit. The only truth is the Gospel, everything else is a deception!

The Slavery of Serving Worldliness

“Oh that my child be godly. Oh that my child give it all for the sake of Christ. Oh that my child live for Him. Oh that my child not be enslaved to the very things that so enslave me.

Do you realize, now listen to this, there’s a balance in everything, there is… but do you realize that if you would just take an agenda/write down a list of how much time you invest in your children in extra curricular activities (versus) how much time you invest in your children with regard to godliness.

We buy things, we fill them full of media, we put them in the world, and we carry them every place on the face of the earth all throughout the week that our lives are so busy and scattered that we can’t even sit a meal and what are we doing?! We’re making our children enslaved to the very master that enslaves us and ruins our lives instead of teaching our children only one thing is needed: devotion to Christ.”

– Paul Washer

It’s very uncool to be a biblical Christian

Here’s a write-up I came across. Did you ever know that being a Christian involves no persecution, no hatred from the world, no narrow gates or roads, no hate crime charges, but only fun fun fun? Well if you believe that Christ meant coolness and fun when He said to carry our cross daily and follow Him; that the world will hate you because it has hated Him first; that in this world you will have many troubles: then this is the gospel for you. But just be warned, it’s a false one and hence don’t expect the Lord to acknowledge you before His Father in Heaven, and don’t expect to find a place in Heaven!  Anyhow, I’ve confronted it with the different colored text (typos in the original by the author):

It’s cool to b a Christian!! (Scripture please). So many people think it’s boring and uncool to be a Christian but that’s totally wrong. (Since when is being cool Christ’s purpose? He isn’t concerned with social status but eternal life!) The Christian life is the most most joyful and meaningful life there is. The Christian life is the ultimate life! The Bible saids that Jesus have come to give us life, abundant life. (John 10:10) We can have that life (life you want or the life He wants for you?) when we start to live for Jesus. (Are you advertising Christianity? Jesus also said there will be hatred and persecution, seems like that scripture does not exist in your bible..)
The Christian life is so much more than going to church and singing psalms, it’s a living relationship with God every day! When you become a Christian God becomes your best friend, a friend whom you can share everything with. (So God just becomes a buddy who will never leave you? So basically the apostles were killed for their best friend, and Christians are hated because of having a best friend? The Bible says God becomes the Father, you become His children and followers! We fear/revere a father more than a friend.)
And you don’t have to cut your hair or change the way you look either just because you are a Christian. The Bible tells us clearly that God looks at our inner body not on our outer look. He judges us by our hearts. That what’s counts to God not if you wear a threepiecesuit or not. (1 Zamuel 16:7) (So a Christian can look like a cave man with tattoos or wear skimpy dresses and flirt around and God accepts all that? The Bible says that we are not to love the world or its things, but be sanctified in our minds and hearts which must show in our lifestyle – which will be different from the world’s. Besides, the heart is the most deceiving thing. Jesus said, “Ye shall know them by their works” (not hearts) Matt 7:20)

GOD  CAN  FORGIVE  YOU! And you know what? God can forgive all your sins in the past if you just turn from them and turn to God instead. The Bible saids that if we confess our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness He forgives everything and gives us a brand new life with Him.(1 John 1:7-9, Romans 10:9-10, Isaiah 1:18, 2 Corintians 5:17)Yes, God forgives your sins and He also forgets them. They are gone forever. (Hebrews 10:17, Psalms 103:12) So no matter what you may have done in the past God can forgive you all. All He asks from you is that you are sorry for what you have done and ask for His forgiveness. (Proverbs 28:13, I John 1:9, Romans 10:9-10) (That’s it? Just feel sorry for your past and ask God’s forgiveness and voila? What about the present and the future? What about living in sanctification and in holiness? It is the lifestyle (fruits/works) that will show if you really were sorry.)

GOD  LOVES  YOU  EVEN  IF  YOU  HATE  HIM! And you know what? God still loves you even if you hate Him. God still loves you even if you are satanist, whore, thief, murderer oranything else. No matter who you are and no matter what you may have done in the past God still loves you. He don’t like your evil ways of course but He still loves you as a person. He even loved you so much that He sent His only son Jesus here to earth to die for your sins! (John 3:16) Jesus never did anything wrong still He was willing to die for your sins on the cross (Hebrews 4:15) He took your penalty in your place. And if you believe that Jesus did this for you God promises that He will forgive you all your sins and give you a brand new life in communion with Him. (The author fails to mention why a satanist, a whore, thief, murder and anyone else need Christ; no really, why should a satanist turn to Christ when he has not been convicted of the gross sin and warned of eternal lake of fire with the devil himself? A person can never be convicted of sin unless he is chosen of God to belong to Him. God loves those that are His; He has saved satanists, whores, thieves etc but not by their decision of “accepting Christ”. A person must renounce their evil ways and start living by God’s Word, then they shall continue in salvation.)

YOU  CAN  START  A  NEW  LIFE  WITH  JESUS  TODAY! Yeah, that’s true you can have it today if you want it (who would want a hard, persecuted life? Unless you’re promoting your gospel of coolness…). All it takes is a simple prayer where you turn to God and pray Godfor forgiveness of your sins and ask Jesus to take full control of your life. It’s that simple. (Readers, do not fall for this lie! It’s not that simple! You can’t be saved just by your decision of praying)You don’t even have to go to priest or something like that, you can do it right where you are. The mostimportant thing isn’t the words but that you are serious in what youare doing. You can’t play games with God, He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows if you are serious or not.But if you are serious God will forgive your sins and give your life real meaning. God will forget all the evil things you have donein the past and give you a brand new life instead.
And if you turn to Him, He surely will turn to you and forgive and forget all the past forever! But don’t wait too long to turn to Christ. You don’t have any promisefor tomorrow. The Bible saids that the day of Salvation is today. (2 Corintians 6:2)Today you got the chance. You don’t even know if you are alivetomorrow, but today you got the chance to turn to Christ. So don’t blew it!
This is the most important decision you will ever make in your life and decides where you will spend your eternity. And there is no middle ground, either you receive Christ or you are rejecting Him. If you choose to don’t care about Christ you are in fact rejecting Him. If you reject Him he will reject you on judgement day.
The choice is yours…

BUT  WHY  DID  JESUS  HAVE  TO  DIE? Well, the Bible tells us that he had to die to conquer the penalty of sin. We all sin and the Bible saids that the wages of sin is death. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)Jesus came to annulate the penalty of sin and therefore he had to die for us. But death wasn’t the end, he rose again on the third dayand conquered death. Because of this we can now have forgivenessof our sins if we just believe in Him. And that’s not all, cause becauseof Jesus annulation of our sins we can now have a communion with God, we can now have a living relationship with God forever if we just believe that He did this for us (Don’t “just” believe it, live it.) . The wayto Heaven is open for us. All it takes is to believe (and LIVE an uncool life) that Jesus diedfor your sins and rose again on the third day. If you do this andpray God to forgive your sins and let God have control of your lifeyou will have a living relationship with God every day.
Of course the Christian life isn’t always easy but God will help you thru even the bad times if you just put your trust in Him. Whenyou start to live for Jesus you will have a purpose and meaning in your life that you just never have had before. The Christian life is the most meaningful, joyful and wonderful life you can ever have. So what are you waiting for??

Christian rock = Secular rock under a VERY deceptive guise

Is this the “Christian” idea of being RELEVANT?
The LORD abhors it. In the name of ‘Christianity’ His name is being blasphemed by the very people who call themselves by the name of Christ! Do the artists themselves seem convicted by the Gospel?? I think not! Let your light shine before men by your lifestyle. I’ve often discussed with friends whether a certain band is Christian or not (because they seem to be both!); anything that confuses us between belonging to God or otherwise – it’s always not of God when the need to clarify arises.
